Family engagement is not about doing more, it’s about doing what we already do, only doing it differently. And it seems to me that things are pretty different today than they were a week ago, so the time is right. We can be well served to use this unique situation as a way to leverage family efficacy to sustain momentum in student learning. Families, as I have said hundreds of times, are the first and most influential teachers of their children.

Invisible Engagement: How to Build the Efficacy of Every Family

In this webinar, Dr. Constantino will discuss his concept of invisible engagement, engagement that you may not see but can see the results of. With the present conditions of learning at home, this concept can easily be adapted by teachers and worked into the process that is already in place in their school to provide structure and lessons while students are away from school.

Master Class: How to Engage When No One is There

COVID-19 has redefined daily life and is redefining teaching and learning. Families, who have traditionally held a more supplementary role in the educational lives of their children, are now the primary drivers of daily learning. In order to maximize the ability for students to continue to flourish, all educators must know how to leverage the efficacy of families to achieve desirable outcomes and must do so in a manner that is easily digestible by every family. Dr. Constantino’s Master Class Series will focus on leveraging family efficacy as a cornerstone to effective learning at home and will provide practice examples and solutions to augment either online learning or learning that is being sent home in more traditional methods.
