About the School

Repton Junior High School is a Title 1 school that is presently serving 111 students in grades K-4 through 6th Grade. The school has one administrator, 16 professional members of the staff who are highly qualified based on the No Child Left behind standards. There are two paraprofessionals. 

 

Community:  

The town of Repton has a population of 280 people, 103 households, and 77 families residing in the town.  The racial makeup of the town is 67.79% white, 31.79% black or African American, and  .71% from other races.  The median income for a household in the town is $28,281.  About 15.6% of families and 16.7% of the population are below the poverty line.

It is the mission of Conecuh County Junior High School to create a culture of confident, diverse, and innovative learners in high-quality educational settings.  We will advance forward and move higher toward a climate that encourages continuous growth and prepares learners to reach their fullest potential to excel in college, career, and life.

Our Achievements:


Repton Jr. High School is proud to have increased their ACAP scores by 14 points.  Our Bulldogs did so well that the State recognized us as one of the top 25 most improved schools in Alabama.  Principal Tommy Dukes,  Teacher of the Year Dr. Joeshannon Kimble,  Math Coach Sheila Armstrong, Reading Coach Bree Riley, and our Superintendent of Conecuh County Schools, Dr. Tonya Bozeman were invited to the State House to be recognized with a certificate and a check for our accomplishments.  Great Job Bulldogs!
